Truck Driver - CDL Class B - Penske Logistics
About The Position
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time CDL Class B Delivery Truck Drivers. Average $71400 annually. Home daily. Dedicated route with consistent schedule. You will drive late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. Trucks are equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all. You will drive an automatic straight truck with pallet jack and hand truck equipment. Deliver freight to customer locations using a dedicated route, averaging 70 delivery stops per week. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL
- Airbrake endorsement required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented relevant commercial vehicle driving experience in the last 5 years required
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Complete Penske employment application
- Submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
- Submit to drug screening
Responsibilities
- Deliver freight to customer locations using a dedicated route
- Average 70 delivery stops per week
- Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
- Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
- Accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
