About The Position

Cooper-Booth Transportation (CBT) is a dependable, professional, and safety-focused transportation delivery service throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our fleet supports the distribution of foodservice, grocery, tobacco, and general merchandise products for Cooper-Booth Wholesale. This role involves safely transporting and delivering products to convenience stores, unloading trucks using a handcart and food service ramp, and handling a significant volume of packages daily. The position primarily involves local and regional routes, with opportunities for voluntary Over-The-Road (OTR) hours. Drivers can expect to earn between $1,250 - $1,600 per week in their first year, with compensation based on delivery routes. A safety and attendance bonus program offers up to $400 per month and $100 per quarter.

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL License with a clean driving record for the past 3 years.
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years of CDL driving experience.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and maneuvering packages throughout the shift.
• A safety-first mindset and willingness to follow FMCSA and DOT policies and regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in physical labor, warehouse work, or delivery is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver products to convenience stores.
• Unload trucks using a handcard and food service ramp.
• Handle 500 - 700 packages per day, with some weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow all company safety procedures and delivery protocols.
• Primarily local and regional routes, with voluntary OTR hours.
