About The Position

Fort Worth Carrier Corporation is seeking an experienced CDL Class A truck driver with a Doubles (T) endorsement to operate Class 8 tractor‑trailers. This position offers long-term stability and proven partnerships as a dedicated carrier for a major retailer's private fleet since 1980. The role is ideal for professional drivers looking for consistent freight, competitive pay, and dependable schedules. Drivers will be responsible for safely hauling freight using double trailers while adhering to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Doubles / T Endorsement required
• Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL driving experience
• Clean MVR driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
• Experience with tractor‑trailer or Class 8 trucks
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and defensive driving

Nice To Haves

• Previous doubles or multiple trailer experience
• Local, regional, or linehaul driving experience
• Familiarity with night driving or scheduled routes

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A / Class 8 tractor‑trailers, including double trailers
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Transport freight safely and on schedule
• Maintain accurate electronic or paper logbooks
• Follow DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery status
• Ensure proper safety checks and safe driving practices
