About The Position

This role involves regional routes, operating out of Charlotte, NC. Drivers will have their own assigned truck (no slip seating) and will be out 2-3 nights per week. The position is partial touch freight, requiring drivers to perform tailgating of mid-weight freight with the assistance of a cart.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• 2 years of verifiable CDL A experience (1 year considered with training program).
• Strong customer service and time management skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• DOT qualified.
• Ability to handle tailgating mid-weight freight with help of cart.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A CDL truck for regional routes.
• Be out on the road 2-3 nights per week.
• Perform partial touch freight duties, including tailgating freight with the help of a cart.
• Maintain a clean driving record.
• Provide strong customer service.
• Manage time effectively to adhere to schedules.
• Comply with COVID policies established by a vendor or customer.
