Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Hazmat (H) Endorsement Required (prior to hire)
Tanker (T) Endorsement Required (prior to hire)
Minimum 2 years of verifiable CDL-A driving experience
Acceptable driving record with zero major recent safety violations or preventable accidents
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including sub-freezing temperatures
Ability to safely handle hoses and tanker equipment and wear required PPE, including cold-insulating gear and face shields

Responsibilities

Safely transport propane and butane (UN1075) and heavy haul freight throughout Lower Peninsula Michigan and surrounding areas.
Load product from terminals including: Alto, MI; Merrill, MI; Marysville, MI; Kalkaska, MI; Cadillac, MI.
Deliver to multiple customer locations while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Load and unload tanker trailers using hoses and pumping equipment.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Accurately maintain in-cab electronic logs (ELD) and accurately log hours of service.
Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements.
Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
Properly manage tanker equipment, valves, hoses, and strict placarding requirements.
