About The Position

Outdoor Escapes & Design, a premier landscape and outdoor living contractor, is seeking an experienced CDL Class A & Operator Specialist to join our team in Murray, UT. This dual-impact role is key to our project success. You will manage job-site equipment operations and lead equipment transport and bulk material logistics across the Salt Lake Valley.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and current DOT Medical Card (Required).
Minimum 4 years of verifiable heavy equipment operation (skid steer and mini-excavator experience required).
Minimum 4 years of experience hauling equipment and operating Class A dump trucks/trailers.
Strong knowledge of load securement standards, weight limits, and DOT safety regulations.
Ability to work early starts and overtime as project deadlines require.

Responsibilities

Expertly operate mini-excavators, skid steers, track loaders, and dozers for rough/finish grading, excavation, trenching, and backfilling.
Safely load, secure, and transport heavy machinery on lowboy/equipment trailers to and from job sites in full compliance with DOT regulations.
Haul and dump bulk materials (dirt, aggregates, mulch) using Class A dump truck combinations.
Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance on assigned trucks and machinery.
Partner with Project Managers and Foremen to schedule and execute timely deliveries and site prep.
Other landscaping tasks as needed.
