About The Position

Intonu, a leading metals recycling company in the Southeastern United States, is seeking a Class A Local Driver for its Atlanta location. Founded in 2009, Intonu has grown significantly and is looking for a dedicated driver to join their expanding team. The company participates in E-Verify and requires all drivers to adhere to DOT regulations and wear required PPE.

Requirements

Class A CDL
Minimum of 2 years driving tractor trailer.
Heavy hauling experience.
Clean Clearinghouse, minimal violations on MVR and PSP.

Responsibilities

Accepts dispatch and safely drives loads to accomplish deliveries.
Abide by all state and local DOT commercial driver regulations.
Abide by all instructions outlined in truck and trailer operation manuals.
Perform visual pre trip and post trip inspections as described by approved dot checklists on trucks and related trailers.
Follow all procedures specific to Intonu transportation department.
Must be on time to work.
Courteous to customer.
Ensure all safety measures are taken while at the company site, customers site and on the road.
Must be able to operate electronic devices, text, email, ELD, DVIRS all electronically using CyntrX.
Other job duties as assigned.
