Local CDL Class A Hazmat Truck Driver
About The Position
BRT, Inc., a family-owned carrier, is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers to make local liquid bulk petroleum deliveries in the Northumberland, Pennsylvania area. This is a full-time local driving position with daily home time and an average of 50–52 hours per week. Drivers can choose between a 4 PM start on a rotating 5/2–5/3 schedule at $32 per hour, or a 4 PM start on a set Sunday–Thursday schedule at $29 per hour. Both options include overtime after 40 hours. The position includes at least three weeks of paid training, newer equipment with state-of-the-art technology, and a performance-based bonus after six months. BRT has been family-owned since 1980 and emphasizes safety, quality equipment, regular work schedules, and long-term relationships with its drivers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- At least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean MVR.
- Safety-conscious, organized, and self-motivated attitude.
