About The Position
Wandering Meadows Cattle Co. is hiring a CDL Class A driver for over-the-road (OTR) flatbed routes across the Central United States. This role is ideal for drivers seeking longer hauls, steady mileage, and a structured schedule with regular weekend home time.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Ability to manage long-haul schedules independently
- Must pass background check and driving test
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of OTR driving experience preferred
- Flatbed experience is a plus (training available)
- Strong safety record and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Operate a Class A commercial vehicle on long-haul OTR routes
- Transport primarily flatbed freight across multiple states in the Central U.S.
- Secure loads and ensure compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Coordinate with dispatch for route planning and delivery timing
- Represent the company professionally at customer locations
