About The Position
The CDL Class A Driver (Transport) drives a tractor-trailer combination or straight truck to transport parcels between terminals. The position is based in Duluth, Minnesota, and is full-time. The schedule is Monday through Friday with a 5:00 PM start, and 10–15 hours of overtime are expected each week. Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per week. Pay is $26.00–$33.50 per hour, based on experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for CDL Class A drivers. The role requires a valid CDL Class A license and a driving record meeting company standards. Drivers must be able to operate a manual transmission, meet DOT physical requirements, and handle freight that may include hazardous materials, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid CDL Class A driver's license and a good driving record that meets company standards.
- Ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a doubles/triples endorsement.
- Good customer service and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Full range of motion, including grasping, standing, squatting, stair climbing, and walking without limitations.
- Ability to work with freight that may include hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Responsibilities
- Conduct a pre-trip inspection to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
- Submit the pre-trip form and complete mileage and maintenance forms.
- Drive between terminals to transport parcels.
- Maintain certifications required by DOT and company safety policies.
- Wash the exterior of the tractor and equipment daily.
- Assist other drivers with loading, delivery, or pickup as needed.
