About The Position

AKHIRE is recruiting a full-time CDL Class A Driver based in Anchorage, Alaska. The driver will operate tractor-trailer routes within the area and on some out-of-state routes, and complete deliveries. Pay is $30–$35 per hour plus mileage incentives. A full benefits package is available and will be discussed.

Requirements

• Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record.
• Previous tanker experience.
• Drug screening and background check required.
• Hazmat endorsement and other endorsements as required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products on assigned routes.
• Load and unload products.
• Drive to delivery locations, including commercial and industrial sites.
• Follow safety procedures for transporting goods and handling materials.
• Process freight-related paperwork.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles, including checking gas, oil, coolant, tires, lights, and brakes.
• Perform minor vehicle maintenance, emergency repairs, and vehicle cleaning.
