About The Position

Arcosa Shoring Products is seeking a Class A Driver to operate a tractor-trailer truck for transporting cargo to and from specified destinations. This role involves preparing, receiving, and providing necessary documentation for deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely service. The driver will also be responsible for loading, securing, and unloading cargo, maintaining communication with management for schedule updates, and keeping accurate logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state guidelines. Compliance with all company safety rules, procedures, and governmental regulations is essential, as is maintaining a satisfactory driving record. The position may involve participation in safety committees or initiatives. The schedule is 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with home nights and weekends.

Requirements

Must be licensed to operate a truck.
Must have a satisfactory driving record.
Prior Flatbed experience
Current Class A CDL (No manual transmission restriction)
Minimum of 3 years relevant driving experience
Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in assigned area
Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
Regular and predictable attendance

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor trailer truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
Prepare, receive and provide appropriate document for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service.
Load, secure and unload cargo.
Maintain radio or telephone contact with management to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in schedule.
Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state guidelines and procedures.
Comply with all company safety rules, and procedures and applicable governmental regulations.
