About The Position

As a CDL Class A Driver, you will safely operate a commercial motor vehicle on a dedicated daily out-of-state route between company locations. You’ll be responsible for the safe, timely, and damage-free transportation of materials while maintaining DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who wants the stability of a regular route and steady work while being able to finish the route and come home every day.

Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A with an acceptable driving record.
  • Current DOT Medical Card.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Tractor-trailer driving experience.
  • Ability to meet DOT/FMCSA requirements and drug and alcohol testing requirements.
  • Familiarity with ELD systems and electronic trip reporting.
  • Strong commitment to safe driving and attention to detail.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to consistently work the required schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with manufacturing, distribution, or inter-facility transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer between company locations on a dedicated route.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Transport materials safely, securely, and without damage.
  • Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip records, and required documentation.
  • Follow Hours of Service requirements and all applicable DOT/FMCSA regulations.
  • Ensure load is secure before departing on route.
  • Communicate with facility teams and leadership regarding delays, safety concerns, or route issues.
  • Promptly report vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Follow company safety standards and defensive driving practices.
  • Represent the company professionally and responsibly on the road and at each location.
