About The Position
The Wyler Collection in Dublin, Ohio is hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver. This role involves safely transporting automotive parts, components, and materials to manufacturing plants and customer facilities. The driver will be responsible for ensuring on-time deliveries, adhering to all safety regulations, and maintaining a clean driving record.
Requirements
- Current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- 3-4 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no DUIs or reckless driving in the last 3-7 years.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75-80 pounds occasionally and secure loads.
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer (GVW over 26,000 lbs) to deliver automotive parts.
- Properly secure cargo using straps, chains, and binders to prevent damage during transit.
- Utilize GPS and routing software to follow schedules, manage time, and meet deadlines, including in heavy traffic.
- Conduct pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, reporting maintenance issues promptly.
- Accurately maintain electronic logs (ELD), mileage reports, and bills of lading.
- Perform local or regional runs, adhering to DOT hours-of-service regulations.
