About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a Local CDL Class A Driver. Drivers will be home daily, starting and ending at the distribution center with no overnight stays required. This position offers a set schedule of 10-hour shifts, Tuesday through Friday, starting at 6:00 am, with weekends off. The pay rate includes training pay at $26.00/hour, and after training, a rate of $8.78/hour plus commission, with potential for up to $65,000 in first-year earnings. The company maintains a well-maintained, modern fleet of tractors and trailers with automatic transmissions.

Requirements

1 plus years of Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent driving experience in the military.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Responsibilities

Safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, company equipment, and courteous delivery of products to customers.
Unloading and delivering products to local customers.
Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
Securely operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck.
Other duties as assigned.
