About The Position

Strange Trip Inc. is a FedEx linehaul contractor operating a mixed fleet of 30+ trucks across the U.S. We run a tight operation built on safety, honesty, and reliability - trucks are well-maintained, and management is available 24/7 when you need us. We're also investing in the future, with Tesla Semi reservations already in place. This is a daytime tractor-trailer position, Monday–Friday starting around 8 am in Allentown, PA. Drivers will be home daily, returning home after every shift. The runs are approximately 300 miles/day, 5 days/week. We offer flexible scheduling with full- and part-time options. The equipment consists of new Class 8 Kenworth and Freightliner trucks with sleepers and automatic transmissions.

Requirements

CDL-A license with a minimum of 6 months tractor-trailer experience.
Must be based in Allentown, PA and available for local runs.
Doubles endorsement required, or willingness to obtain one.
Clean MVR and criminal background.
Commitment to safety, on-time delivery, and equipment care.
Ability to follow FedEx procedures and security standards.

Responsibilities

Operate a tractor-trailer for local dry van linehaul to various FedEx Ground destinations.
Perform drop-and-hook, no-touch freight operations.
Adhere to FedEx procedures and security standards.
Ensure commitment to safety, on-time delivery, and equipment care.
