About The Position

The CDL Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non‑hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. Drivers will operate a variety of manual and automatic transmission equipment including tankers, roll off trucks, end dumps, walking floor trailers, and vans. Drivers may perform multiple equipment types in a single day.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older.
CDL Class A required.
Minimum 2+ years CDL driving experience.
Acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Hazmat is preferred but not required.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience with roll offs, end dumps, walking floor trailers, or landfill/waste operations.
Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Drive commercial vehicles to safely transport goods and materials according to DOT regulations and scheduled appointments.
Operate trucks and specialized equipment including pumps, wet kits, PTO pumps when required.
Perform pre and post trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
Complete administrative tasks and paperwork tied to hazardous and non‑hazardous transport including manifests, bills of lading, medical waste tracking, logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
Ensure vehicle placarding meets all DOT requirements.
Maintain clear communication with dispatch, customers, and other drivers.
Safely operate vehicles and uphold safety standards for self, coworkers, clients, and the public.
Interpret maps and follow written and verbal delivery directions.
Complete additional assigned duties.
