About The Position

The Driver Merchandiser OnPremise is responsible for efficiently delivering products to customer locations on an assigned route in a courteous, professional, compliant, safe, and timely manner. The position also involves stocking products on shelves and in coolers, maintaining product rotation standards, and stocking and facing products on shelves, displays, and in coolers. The driver serves as an ambassador for Coca-Cola Consolidated and its brands. The role requires daily accounting for product, cash, and assets, as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles. The work environment may include exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas that may not be temperature controlled. The schedule has an early morning start time and includes availability to work some weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a CDL permit.
Ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements.
Excellent customer service skills.
Self-motivation, a high degree of integrity, and ability to perform duties with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
A work history reflecting dependability, initiative, professional demeanor, and sound judgment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment involving continuous lifting.
Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds of product.
Ability to push and pull manual and powered material-handling equipment, such as a pallet jack or hand truck, containing product loads for at least 100 yards without assistance.
Availability to work some weekends and holidays.
Excellent safety record.
Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English and perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Nice To Haves

Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising, or retail management experience.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

Deliver products to customers on an assigned route.
Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and in cold drink equipment according to Company standards.
Maintain and organize Coca-Cola stock, including picking up damaged and outdated products, empty shells, and pallets.
Set up and maintain merchandise and sales promotion displays.
Ensure Coca-Cola equipment and products in assigned accounts are neat, and maintain a safe work environment.
Build relationships with account personnel and provide superior customer service to customers and accounts served.
Ensure proper daily accounting of product, cash, and assets.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
