About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and efficient CDL Class A Boom Truck Driver who will deliver and unload building materials (drywall, steel studs, etc.) to various local work sites on a daily basis. Home every night. LKL Associates is a family-owned business supplying construction material to commercial and residential builders since 1978. We are known as the industry leader in drywall, but we also supply a wide array of other supplies such as roofing, stucco, siding, masonry, steel studs, hollow-framed doors, acoustical ceiling panels and much more! We have multiple locations throughout Utah and Idaho to serve the construction industry. An ideal employee is a self-starter and should be able to perform multiple tasks. Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • A clean driving record and commercial driving experience a must
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds regularly
  • Ability to solve problems on site
  • Dependable – be on time every day
  • Be responsible with tools and materials
  • Good work ethic
  • Team player
  • Minimum age is 18 years old

Nice To Haves

  • Boom experience recommended
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently
  • This is a physical job. Will be up on the roof helping loaders deliver material, NOT just booming
  • This is a very fast paced environment. Job located outdoors so dealing with all types of weather is necessary
  • Roofing experience in general
  • Bilingual Spanish/English a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver building materials in a safe and timely manner
  • Load and unload building materials at multiple job sites locally
  • Confirm inventory load on truck prior to delivery. Confirm address on delivery ticket
  • Ensure load is properly and safely tied down. Perform a pre-trip inspection
  • Ensure smooth, on-time delivery of products and building material and place material where customers direct
  • Load and unload roofing materials onto/off a truck to requested location
