About The Position
Tri-City Group is currently looking for a Class C CDL Driver to join our team in Davenport, IA! This position is responsible for completing local routes, loading/unloading cargo, and complying with federal DOT safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Current DOT medical card
- Valid CDL - Class C license and reliable transportation
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
- Ability to safely drive various vehicles
- Clean Driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50–80 lbs and perform frequent bending, pushing, and pulling.
- Steel-toe/composite toe boots
Responsibilities
- Drive commercial vehicles to and from designated locations materials, and/or equipment while keeping documentation of transport details.
- Follows safe operating procedures based on vehicle/load requirements and proper tie-down procedures checked off prior to transport.
- Basic warehouse duties such as cleaning, organizing, basic fork truck usage
