About The Position

Greyhound is hiring CDL Bus Drivers to serve passengers and communities across the nation. Drivers operate buses safely and efficiently, follow designated routes and schedules, and help ensure passengers have a safe and comfortable trip. This is a full-time opportunity, with schedules that vary based on regional driver needs.

Requirements

Hold a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Have a Passenger 16+ endorsement and no air brake restriction.
Be at least 22 years of age.
Pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
Be able to work a varied schedule based on regional driver needs.

Responsibilities

Operate a bus safely and efficiently while following traffic laws and safety regulations.
Follow designated routes and schedules, making adjustments when necessary.
Help ensure passenger safety and comfort, provide assistance as needed, and keep the bus clean.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to check that the bus is in good working condition.
Clean and maintain the bus interior and exterior.
Report maintenance issues, accidents, and incidents to the appropriate authorities.
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing personal belongings.
Follow company emergency procedures and respond to incidents according to company protocols.
Record miles driven, fuel usage, and other required information.
Stay current on company policies and safety procedures.
