About The Position

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking On-Call CDL Drivers to support ongoing ground operations and asset relocation efforts. This is an on-call/as-needed opportunity. CDL Class A, Class B, Class C Drivers are encouraged to apply. At Terrestris, we leverage technology to create better mission outcomes through better human performance. Requirements

  • A valid Class A, Class B, Class C CDL license.
  • A clean driving record.
  • Current DOT medical card.
  • Passenger endorsement(s) (P and / or S Endorsement).
  • A minimum of (2) years of commercial driving experience.
  • Familiarity with DOT Hours of Service and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Flexibility to work on-call, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating a school bus or like-sized commercial vehicle.
  • Experience driving long distances / over-the-road (OTR).
  • Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures and regulations associated with a typical U.S. military installation.
  • Prior military experience.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate school bus in compliance with all DOT, state, and company regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
  • Transport personnel to designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage, and delivery documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding schedules or delays.
  • Follow all company policies and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Report mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
