About The Position

Terrestris LLC is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Temporary CDL Bus Driver to support operations in Mayport, Florida, from August 3, 2026, through August 13, 2026. Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement (Class A or B preferred).
  • Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
  • Previous experience operating buses, shuttles, passenger vans, or similar commercial vehicles.
  • Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and commercial vehicle operations.
  • Ability to pass any required background screening and company onboarding requirements.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting military, government, transportation, or large-scale operational environments.
  • Familiarity with base access requirements and installation transportation procedures.
  • Experience transporting groups of personnel in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a passenger bus or shuttle vehicle to transport personnel between designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operating conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs, mileage records, inspection reports, and required documentation.
  • Assist passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain situational awareness and prioritize passenger safety at all times.
  • Report vehicle issues, safety concerns, delays, or incidents promptly to management.
  • Support temporary operational transportation requirements as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle environment.
