About The Position

Mickey Truck Bodies is hiring a CDL B driver. Mickey Truck Bodies is a premier manufacturer of state-of-the-art bodies and trailers, and specially engineered vehicles sold in over 50 countries around the world. The innovative product line-up is prevalent in industries such as food & beverage, vending, propane, rental trucks, emergency & rescue, battery, oil & natural gas, and data storage. The company operates in 4 states with over 400 Mickey employees at these locations. This role is ideal for experienced drivers.

Requirements

Unexpired CDL B – certification for straight trucks
Min of 3 years Driving Experience – Meet Mickey Driver Policy Guidelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations manual, and written directions.

Responsibilities

Deliver supreme internal and external customer service
Ability to read and interpret data (work orders)
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Maintain CDL – B or CDL – A certifications
Able to navigate roads and highways
Driving short/long distances
Able to back up, drive and maneuver units in tight areas
Climb in and out of units often
