About The Position
The CDL B Driver is responsible for the safe operation of their vehicle and delivering pre-sold products to accounts. This role involves rotating and placing products on shelves, racks, displays, and in coolers, while maintaining a courteous and respectful attitude toward customers and co-workers. The position requires working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions and involves physical demands such as stooping, bending, lifting, and twisting regularly. The driver must be able to lift approximately 55 lbs, operate a two-handed hand truck on inclines and stairs, and frequently walk up and down stairs and inclines. Sufficient vision and hearing are necessary to perform job duties safely and effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Active CDL Class B License in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating tractor-trailers
- Strong safety-oriented mindset and adherence to safe driving practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, starting at 5:30 AM; end times may vary between 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Start and end time may vary, depending on route and delivery volume.)
