About The Position

Singer Equipment Company is seeking a CDL-B Driver to join their team. This role involves local deliveries of foodservice supplies and restaurant equipment, requiring drivers to unload product at customer locations using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and liftgates. Drivers will operate independently for most of the day and may assist in the warehouse when needed. Requirements

Valid CDL Class B License required with clean driving record
Minimum 6 months experience in Commercial Driving, or relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Ability to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and obtain MEC Certification
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lift, push, pull a minimum of 50-70lbs
Show up, be reliable, and ability to work independently without being micromanaged

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class B box truck
Safely unload product at client locations, using pallet jacks, hand trucks, liftgates
Use Descartes for routes and stops
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
Help in the warehouse when needed
