About The Position
CDL B Driver needed for local deliveries of lumber and building materials to residential construction sites. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, safely operating a forklift and truck-mounted Moffett, performing daily truck safety inspections, identifying malfunctioning parts, and completing all necessary paperwork.
Requirements
- Class B CDL license
- 2+ years driving experience with clean MVR record
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
Nice To Haves
- Previous driving experience in lumber and building material industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Load truck, transport lumber and building materials to residential construction site, and unload building materials
- Safely operate forklift and truck-mounted Moffett
- Inspect truck for safety issues daily
- Determine if any parts are malfunctioning
- Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork
- Local deliveries
