White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL B Driver. This role involves coordinating and delivering products to customer jobsites, potentially using a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments. Drivers must follow DOT regulations, operate safely, ensure paperwork accuracy, and may assist warehouse staff. Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of CDL Driving experience
  • Required state license (CDL B)

Nice To Haves

  • Current Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) issued by the state in which the candidate resides with all the relevant endorsements required for the type of equipment being operated (i.e., Hazardous Material to transport hazardous materials that require placarding)
  • Two years of commercial driving experience compliant with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT regulations preferred
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Spanish language proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites
  • May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites
  • Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong sense of safety
  • Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate
  • May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment
  • Performs other duties as needed
