About The Position
This is a full-time position that combines driving responsibilities with warehouse duties. Approximately 90% of the role involves driving a truck or van with a capacity of over 26,000 GVW, primarily for local deliveries and pickups. The remaining 10% of the time will be spent in the warehouse, verifying and keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for shipment, and performing related tasks.
Requirements
- CDL B license.
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Updated medical card.
Responsibilities
- Drive a truck or van with a capacity of over 26,000 GVW.
- Deliver or pick up merchandise or packages within a specified area.
- Load and unload truck.
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Prepare items for shipment.
- Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material.
- Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material.
- Arrange for customer pickup or delivery.
