Requirements

High school diploma/GED
18+ months of CDL driving experience
6+ months of warehouse, forklift, or order fulfillment experience
Valid CDL Class A or B License and Medical Certificate/Health Card per FMCSA regulations
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, crouch, kneel, and balance as needed.
A clean driving record
A positive attitude

Responsibilities

Prepare shipments and ensure that all products are accurately packed for delivery.
Load and unload trucks.
Meticulously check inventory for accuracy.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Navigate local routes, delivering supplies to customers with a strong focus on safety and punctuality.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address concerns and solve logistical challenges.
Load and secure deliveries on Eastern vehicles for safe transport.
Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone & GPS.
Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
Receive and inspect materials from Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx, and customer returns.
Accurately pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
Ensure items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
Complete shipping documentation and system entries while maintaining high quality standards.
