Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 18+ months of CDL driving experience
  • 6+ months of warehouse, forklift, or order fulfillment experience
  • Valid CDL Class A or B License and Medical Certificate/Health Card per FMCSA regulations
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, crouch, kneel, and balance as needed.
  • A clean driving record
  • A positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Prepare shipments and ensure that all products are accurately packed for delivery.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Meticulously check inventory for accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Navigate local routes, delivering supplies to customers with a strong focus on safety and punctuality.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address concerns and solve logistical challenges.
  • Load and secure deliveries on Eastern vehicles for safe transport.
  • Deliver orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
  • Maintain real-time communication with supervisors via phone & GPS.
  • Inspect and ensure proper working condition of delivery trucks.
  • Receive and inspect materials from Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx, and customer returns.
  • Accurately pull and stage orders for shipment using forklifts or order pickers.
  • Ensure items are packaged securely and labeled correctly.
  • Complete shipping documentation and system entries while maintaining high quality standards.
