About The Position

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our West Allis, WI Location. This role is responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request, as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. The company is a wholesale building material distributor serving 15 states with over 65 locations and has been in operation for nearly 50 years.

Requirements

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Heavy Lifting experience
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.

Nice To Haves

• Box Truck Driving Experience Desired
• Flabed and Moffett Experience Desired
• Box Truck operating experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely delivering products to the job site
• Physically unloading material per the customer's request
• Receiving materials in the warehouse
• Loading trucks
• Processing inventory
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
