About The Position
A CDL-A truck driver in this position moves freight through regional lanes with an emphasis on keeping wheels turning and minimizing downtime between assignments. Load timing is arranged to keep a Class A CDL driver progressing through the week without extended gaps between stops. Home time is set every other weekend, allowing drivers to step away from the road and return ready for the next series of runs.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months of CDL A driving experience within the last year, or at least 12 months of experience within the past three years.
- Comfortable operating across regional routes.
- Ability to maintain consistent driving performance.
Responsibilities
- Moves freight through regional lanes.
- Minimizes downtime between assignments.
- Operates late-model Freightliner tractors with automatic transmission.
- Maintains performance across changing route conditions.
