About The Position

Law Motor Freight, a family-owned company with over 140 years of experience in reliable transportation services throughout New England, is seeking a professional CDL A Truck Driver. This is a full-time, local position with a Monday-Friday schedule, offering home daily opportunities and a new higher starting rate of $31.25 per hour plus overtime after 40 hours. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A License)
At least 21 years of age
Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to successfully complete a county-level background check during onboarding
Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle throughout New England
Complete local freight pickups and deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Secure and transport freight safely and efficiently
Communicate with Dispatch regarding route updates, traffic, delays, and delivery status
Follow all DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, company, state, and federal regulations
Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation documentation
Represent Law Motor Freight professionally at customer locations
