About The Position
American Transport Team provides a range of driving opportunities across multiple divisions nationwide. Drivers are supported with consistent freight and access to dedicated resources designed to support long-term success. This local CDL-A driver opportunity offers daily home time and flexible scheduling. Weekly earnings average $1,725 – $1,825, with earnings varying based on routes, experience, and availability. We offer steady freight to support consistent income. Online orientation and efficient onboarding processes are available to get you on the road quickly. The work schedule offers multiple scheduling options with two days off each week based on operational needs and driver availability. There are day and night driving opportunities, with a typical workday lasting 10–11 hours. Holiday work may be required depending on account needs. This role involves local deliveries with same-day return, meaning you'll be home daily. The freight is no-touch, with a combination of drop and hook and customer unload freight. Equipment is assigned and maintained, and freight types may include refrigerated and dry van.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A required
- Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening (road test and drug screen)
- Must meet company safety standards
Responsibilities
- Perform local deliveries with same-day return.
- Handle no-touch freight, including drop and hook and customer unload.
- Operate assigned and maintained equipment.
- Transport refrigerated and dry van freight.
