About The Position
We are hiring experienced CDL-A Drivers for a dedicated Dollar Tree account with consistent freight, competitive pay, and weekly home time. This dedicated route is based out of Joliet, IL, and involves approximately 970 miles per week with 3 turns per week. Drivers will handle touch freight, unloading dry freight using rollers, on routes throughout WI, IA, MN, MI, IN, and Northern KY. The position offers top-of-the-line sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53' dry van trailers. Drivers may take the truck home for parking if the location is safe and secure.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- Minimum 3 months of experience
- Safe driving record
Responsibilities
- Drive a dedicated route for Dollar Tree.
- Complete approximately 3 turns per week, with 3-5 stops per load.
- Unload dry freight using rollers (touch freight).
- Operate sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions and 53' dry van trailers.
- Ensure safe parking of the truck at home if taken home.
