About The Position

Highway Express is hiring a CDL A truck driver for a regional fleet operating primarily east of I-35. This position is structured to provide consistent mileage flow, reduced dock time, and dependable dispatch coordination within a structured regional network. Drivers operate within a defined regional footprint and return home every other week for scheduled time off. All dispatched miles are compensated, including loaded and empty movements. The fleet equipment includes Kenworth T-680 automatic tractors with APU, inverter, refrigerator, and Bluetooth capability, and SmartTruck UT6 aerodynamic-equipped reefer trailers. Assigned equipment may be parked at home when secure parking is available, and preventative maintenance is scheduled for reliability. Freight consists of temperature-controlled shipments with a combination of drop and hook and scheduled live load appointments, featuring a no-touch structure to reduce handling requirements. Regional lanes primarily run east of I-35 with organized dispatch planning. Highway Express operates a professionally managed regional fleet focused on dependable freight flow, organized dispatch communication, and consistent operational standards.
