About The Position

Blue Line Distribution, the in-house distributor for Little Caesars Pizza, has been family owned and operated for over 50 years and is dedicated to leading customized and innovative food service logistics with safety as a top priority. We are now hiring Class A Truck Drivers in Houston, Texas. Driving with Blue Line Distribution involves starting pay at $32.88 per hour with overtime after 40 hours, averaging 40-45 hours per week. The coverage area is the greater Houston area, extending as far south as McAllen, as far north as Huntsville, and as far east as Gulfport, MS. Center runs occur Sunday night through Saturday afternoon, generally a 4-day work week. First dispatch is Sunday night, with the last dispatch Thursday night, and some overnight routes. Routes are dispatched between 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Unloading into stores is facilitated by a lift-gate, electric pallet jack, or cart/ramp.

Requirements

• One (1) year of verified tractor-trailer experience with a class A CDL license.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• No more than 1 DOT preventable accident in the past 3 years.
• Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and road test.
• Registered to the FMCSA Clearing House.

• Direct Store Delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class A tractor-trailer.
• Deliver products to stores within the greater Houston area and surrounding regions.
• Unload products using provided equipment (lift-gate, electric pallet jack, cart/ramp).
• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery records.
