About The Position
This program is designed for individuals with a fresh Class A CDL who may lack extensive experience. It offers paid, hands-on field experience, bypassing classroom videos and putting drivers directly on the road hauling actual cargo. The goal is to provide corporate backing, stable income, and real-world skills to launch a lifelong trucking career. Drivers will earn a fixed salary during their training phase and then transition to a per-mile pay with a guaranteed weekly minimum, with potential for increased earnings as they gain experience.
Requirements
- An active Class A CDL license in good standing.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Documentation confirming 120+ training hours at an approved truck driving school.
- A driving record free of severe violations or recent major accidents (clean MVR).
- Passing results on a standard DOT medical examination and pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Haul actual cargo on regional lanes.
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles under real traffic conditions.
- Utilize electronic logging device (ELD) software.
- Maintain strict Hours-of-Service (HOS) compliance.
- Execute thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections (DVIR).
