About The Position

This is an entry-level position designed for new drivers with less than 1 year of Class A commercial driving experience. The Associate Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles. This role requires the safe and professional operation of a commercial motor vehicle, including conveyors and carts. Drivers will also securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such as an electric pallet jack and/or hand truck. Responsibilities include picking up returned products, payments, and pallets, as well as completing delivery and pick-up paperwork. Other duties may be assigned. The company is McDonald's largest supply chain partner worldwide in Foodservice Distribution, offering reliable schedules with local routes, predictable freight with palletized delivery and preloaded trucks. This is a dynamic, touch-freight role delivering to local restaurants.

Requirements

0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience
Must be at least 21 years old
Must possess a valid Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience in the military
Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds
