B-TEK Scales, Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to safely transport large truck scales and other oversized industrial equipment to customer sites all over the United States. Requirements

• Clean CDL driving record
• Ability to operate manual transmission CMV/s with 48ft trailers
• Ability to climb in and out of commercial vehicles multiple times per day
• Ability to assist with loading, securing, and unloading heavy equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring physical stamina and focus

Nice To Haves

• Experience with heavy, oversized, or specialized equipment preferred
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Mon – Fri, with availability required for a few weekends each year
• 0-2 overnight stays per week
• Average 5,000 miles/month
• Safely operate a DOT-regulated CMV with 48-foot trailer to transport large truck scales and over-sized components
• Operate vehicles equipped with manual transmissions
• Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy/oversized equipment with care, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and enroute inspections to ensure vehicle and load safety
• Maintain accurate driver logs, hours-of-service records, inspection reports, and delivery documentation
• Secure cargo in compliance with DOT cargo securement standards
• Follow established routes, schedules, and work instructions, and adapt to changes as needed
• Communicate clearly and professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and job site personnel
• Report equipment or safety concerns promptly
• Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, equipment and garage in clean, safe, and dependable working condition
• Valid CDL with appropriate class and endorsements
• Current DOT medical examiner's certificate
• Compliance with drug & alcohol testing
• Strict adherence to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and company safety policies
