About The Position

A dedicated CDL-A opportunity is now hiring experienced truck drivers for a consistent regional operation based near Bridgeport, NJ. This position offers steady miles, predictable home time, and primarily drop-and-hook freight with minimal driver touch. The dedicated regional operation involves approximately 9 stops per week, with routes through NJ, PA, MD, NY, MA, CT and DE. This role requires no NYC driving and operates on a Sunday afternoon through Friday schedule, with dispatch times generally between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM. The freight consists of medical supplies transported in 53-foot swing-door trailers. On-site truck parking is available, and night driving is required.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Must be comfortable driving at night
• Must meet DOT qualification standards
• Must pass required drug screening
• Satisfactory safety and employment history

Responsibilities

• Drive a tractor-trailer combination.
• Transport medical supplies.
• Complete approximately 9 stops per week.
• Operate within NJ, PA, MD, NY, MA, CT and DE.
• Adhere to a Sunday afternoon through Friday schedule.
• Manage dispatch times generally between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM.
