About The Position

This position is for a CDL-A Truck Driver who will be a valued member of the Shipping and Receiving operations. The role requires good attendance and safety records. The driver will transport raw/finished product between plant and warehouse facilities, with short distances (less than 3 miles each way). The job involves driving a 53-foot TT with a 10-speed unit. Responsibilities include preparing, receiving, and providing appropriate documentation for deliveries and pickups, as well as loading, securing, and unloading cargo. The role also includes general warehouse duties (60% of the time) and delivery driving (40% of the time). The position requires the ability to perform various physical movements and lift over 50 pounds. Forklift and RF scanning experience is necessary, along with the ability to operate and maintain equipment safely. The ideal candidate is independent, reliable, team-focused, and results-oriented. This is a first-shift, local driving position.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years CDL A experience.
• Valid, clean, and current CDL A license.
• Ability to attain DOT physical card.
• Ability to attain forklift certification (stand-up and sit down).
• Computer literate / RF scanning experienced or able to attain.
• Detailed oriented for documentation and computer input.
• Ability to be flexible to meet adapting work schedule.
• Ability to drive 53 foot TT / 10 speed unit.
• Ability to sit / stand / walk / reach / climb / squat / kneel / twist and turn as required by daily work.
• Ability to successfully operate controls and machinery.
• Must be able to move or lift in excess of 50 pounds.
• Requires forklift and RF scanning experience.
