About The Position
This role focuses on maintaining steady automotive freight movement with consistent mileage and a dispatch system designed to minimize delays between loads. Operations are concentrated in the Midwest, providing a comfortable and familiar territory for drivers who prefer to stay within a specific region. The position specializes in hauling automotive freight, which means no-touch loads and a consistent flow of drop-and-hook opportunities, ensuring ease and efficiency. Freight is coordinated to support continuous movement, allowing drivers to transition between loads with minimal downtime while maintaining consistent weekly output. Drivers can expect to cruise 2,500-3,000 miles each week, with an average length of haul of 500 miles. Pay ranges from $1,300 to $1,500 per week, plus a monthly safety bonus of $750. The company values personal time, with drivers typically spending 7-10 days on the road, followed by a 34-48 hour reset at home. The fleet features mostly Peterbilt 579s, along with other well-maintained rigs, all equipped with inverters and fridges for driver comfort. Requirements
- Valid CDL A
- Current DOT medical card
- At least 3 months of experience in the last 12 months or 1 year in the last 3 years (verifiable tractor-trailer experience)
