CDL - A Truck Driver - Lumber
About The Position
Wagner Hardwoods is looking for qualified CDL A Truck Drivers to help support our log yards near Cayuta, NY. This role involves driving a tractor trailer or straight truck (tri-axle) with wagon attached on various types of roads throughout New York, Pennsylvania, and occasionally other northeast states. Responsibilities include delivering lumber to company facilities and outside lumber companies, as well as picking up logs from log landings, log yards, and other company operations. Wagner Hardwoods, LLC. is one of three sawmills owned by The Wagner Companies, a major North American hardwood lumber manufacturer, distributor, and exporter.
Requirements
- Must possess a clean CDL A
- Must have a valid DOT medical card
- Minimum of at least 3 years of experience driving tractor trailers
Nice To Haves
- 5 years experience driving tractor trailers
Responsibilities
- Driving a tractor trailer or straight truck (tri-axle) with wagon attached
- Driving on interstate highways, state highways, county roads and local (town) roads throughout New York, Pennsylvania and occasion other northeast states
- Delivering lumber to various company facilities and outside lumber companies
- Picking up logs from log landings, log yards and other company operations
