About The Position

Heartland Express is hiring a CDL-A Team Truck Driver in the Norfolk, Virginia area. Team drivers take turns driving and resting in the sleeper berth, allowing for maximum miles per week. Team rates are typically higher per mile than solo-position rates. The role is suited to couples, friends, or carrier-matched co-drivers; team matching may be available for applicants without a co-driver. Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
• At least 6 months of verifiable CDL-A driving experience.
• Clean MVR, with no more than 3 minor violations in 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI convictions.
• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• No at-fault preventable accidents in the past 3 years.
• Must be located within or willing to operate in the carrier’s hiring area.
