About The Position

Earn approximately $79,976 annually while delivering retail freight on consistent local routes. This dedicated position offers daily home time, automatic trucks, and mostly drop-and-hook freight. Deliver retail freight on local routes in the Chicago area. The longest round trip is approximately 91 miles. Drivers will complete a minimum of two loads per day. Approximately 95% of the freight is drop-and-hook, and approximately 5% of deliveries require pallet-jack unloading, which is paid. Night driving is required.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience
• Reliable transportation for daily commuting
• Ability to work a six-day schedule and night shifts
• Ability to perform occasional pallet-jack unloading
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical card
