About The Position

Regional freight reliability and balanced scheduling give CDL A drivers in Raleigh a consistent operation without unnecessary changes from one week to the next. This position combines established freight lanes, steady customer demand, and organized dispatch planning to help drivers maintain productive miles while keeping scheduled home time in the rotation. Drivers who prefer longer runs, no-touch freight, and a straightforward operating schedule can settle into a dependable routine while earning consistent weekly pay. Regional Freight Network Drivers haul dry van freight through established regional lanes connecting North Carolina with surrounding Southeast and East Coast freight markets. Regular customer volume helps maintain consistent load availability throughout the year and provides drivers with reliable opportunities to keep moving. The majority of freight is no-touch, with a combination of drop-and-hook loads and scheduled live unloads. Average haul lengths are approximately 700 to 750 miles, allowing drivers to build weekly mileage without relying on a high number of short trips.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 3 months recent tractor-trailer experience
Acceptable driving and safety record
Reliable employment history
Ability to meet DOT and company requirements

Responsibilities

Haul dry van freight through established regional lanes connecting North Carolina with surrounding Southeast and East Coast freight markets.
Maintain consistent load availability throughout the year.
Operate late-model sleeper tractors with automatic transmissions.
Coordinate freight around the operating cycle to maintain both productive mileage and scheduled home time.
Coordinate upcoming loads before the current assignment is completed.
