About The Position
Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport loaded double trailers from their Grand Rapids Distribution center to drop yards in Michigan and Indiana, and then return to Grand Rapids. This is a night shift position with a typical start time of 8 pm and end time of 6 am, operating Sunday through Thursday.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age.
- Meet all DOT requirements for driving, including possession of a valid CDL-A license.
- Doubles Endorsement is required.
- Clean Driving Record.
- Must pass a DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Drug Clearinghouse.
- Background check free from felonies.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience preferred.
- May consider candidates with new obtained CDL-A License.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries of double trailers to and from Grand Rapids Distribution Center.
- Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.
- Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
- Perform all work within Company safety practices.
