CDL-A Regional Truck Driver - Home Weekly
About The Position
This regional truck driver position offers a guaranteed weekly pay of $1,400, with average drivers earning $1,670 per week and top earners reaching $2,090 per week. Drivers can expect to earn between $86,646 and $108,631 annually, driving approximately 1,500 miles and unloading 2-3 trailers. A guaranteed 34-hour reset is provided every week. The freight primarily stays within Texas and Oklahoma (75%), with the remainder extending into Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Drivers will hand-unload dry freight using gravity rollers, with no pallet jacks or lumpers required. The role involves staying active through the unloading process. Training is provided for 3 loads with a mentor, paying $200 per day for approximately one to two weeks, after which drivers will be assigned their own truck and begin earning full CPM and unload pay immediately.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- 6+ months of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR (no recent accidents or citations)
- Willingness to hand-unload freight
- Ability to secure company truck at home
Responsibilities
- Drive a tractor-trailer regionally, primarily within Texas and Oklahoma, with some routes extending into Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
- Hand-unload dry freight using gravity rollers.
- Complete training with a mentor for the first few loads.
- Maintain a safe driving record.
- Ensure safe, secure parking at home for the company truck.
