About The Position

Established regional automotive freight with an average 500-mile length of haul. Drivers operate in familiar regional lanes, benefiting from organized load planning and established customer freight. The role involves 100% no-touch automotive freight and approximately 90% drop-and-hook loads, with planned dispatch to keep miles moving throughout the week and reduce time spent at customer locations. The primary running area is east of I-35. Drivers average 2,500-3,000 miles per week.

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A required.
• Current DOT medical card required.
• At least 3 months of experience within the last 12 months or 1 year within the last 3 years operating a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer.

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor with a 40-foot or longer trailer.
• Transport automotive freight.
• Adhere to regional running area (east of I-35).
• Perform drop-and-hook operations.
• Maintain a steady pace throughout the workweek.
• Utilize organized load planning and planned dispatch.
• Ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
• Take assigned equipment home during home time.
